Google's new Global Communications and Strategy VP, Dan Senor, was/is a Senior Associate at the Carlyle Group, was Scott McLellan's deputy spokesman at the White House and
actually was head of the Disinformation Department for Paul Bremer's Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq.
Don't just take my word for it: Google him ...
Obviously, there are several ways to see this change at Google. Let's hope the all the scary ones are wrong.
Anyway, there is a lot of other VERY interesting stuff going on at Google besides GoogleScholar and those core
AJAX-based show-ware betas: Google Suggest and GoogleEARTH are just the tip
of the iceberg. There is also a lot of FUD emerging in the tech-aware world that has come to depend on the
presumption that there is an inherent friendliness in Google. Read more here....
